Garima obtained her B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, India in 2016. She was amongst the top scorers in the university. She was awarded a scholarship for participating in the 2nd WTI-CWS Joint Academy in International Trade Law and Policy organised by the World Trade Institute and the Centre for WTO Studies at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. Garima brought laurels to the university by participating in various national and international moot court competitions. She was also a member of the Moot Court Committee at the university for four years and the Student Convenor for one year.
Garima attended the IELPO LL.M. (Universidad de Barcelona) as an ELSA (Europeans Law Students association) scholar. Her LL.M. research paper, on animal health related issues in international trade at the WTO, was supervised by Prof. Arthur Appleton. Garima is currently working as a part of the international trade policy group at Ernst & Young, India. Previously, Garima has gained valuable experience in working at the World Trade Organization, Geneva and Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys, New Delhi.
