Radhika hails from the small town of Degana in Rajasthan and she has made her place at one of the best National Law Universities of the Country by securing an All India Rank of 3 in the CLAT Exam. Radhika has already proved to the world that Excellence is not an act but a habit for her. She lives in a family of 5 with 3 daughters, which includes her mother who is a house wife, her father who is a grain merchant, her elder sister who is preparing for civil services and her younger sister who is about to enrol herself in graduation course. Her father owns 1/4th share in an ancestral property, which is the only immovable property her father owns.

Her father who is a grain merchant is the sole bread earner of the family. Her total family income is really low and barely covers her college fee. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic her father’s business has gone downhill. Managing the essentials for survival and paying this year's college fee which is around Rs. 2.4 Lakhs has been a formidable challenge for her family, but to make the ends meet her family have had to compromise on every aspect of life. Though her family is finding it difficult to manage, but her condition is slightly better than other applicants.

With sheer courage and determination Radhika is fighting with all the problems. She is a very hardworking and vibrant student with good academic record and at the start of the Academic Year 2020-21 she has a CGPA of 6 out of 7, this places her amongst the top ten students of her batch. Over the last three years she has participated in various competitions. She has been adjudged as the quarter finalist of 2nd NLUD CCI Moot Court Competition. She has held various positions of responsibility in the university. She is an administrative editor of NLSIR, Law Journal of NLSIU and she was also an Editor on the board of NLS Business Law Review in 2019-20. Her outstanding academic record and getting 6 CGPA in a University like NLSIU where marking is not lenient, ‘O’ grades in major law subjects is the proof of her excellent performance and capabilities.

Radhika is a bright young mind and has proved the same by securing AIR 3 in the CLAT. She is a very hardworking student in college too and secures top grades in almost every subject. However, she faces many adversities and financial hardships due to the current economic condition of her family. Therefore, CAN Foundation has shortlisted her as an Eklavya Scholar under the ‘Rewarding Excellence’ category.
